At The Smile Spot, we are proud to have a team of doctors who are not only experienced, but who truly care about the needs and goals of each and every one of their patients. Our dentists speak English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic and Korean and believe in providing gentle dentistry. We are here to listen to your concerns and make sure you and your family feel completely comfortable throughout your visit.
Dr. Lyna Vuu
Dr. Lyna Vuu was raised in Sugarland, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s in biomedical science and went on to the University of Texas, San Antonio where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery. She has a passion for working with children of all ages and enjoys creating a fun and safe experience for them. During her free time, Dr. Vuu loves reading, cooking, and attending music festivals.
Dr. Andy Yassa
Dr. Yassa sees all members of the family, but he especially enjoys working with children. He finds it extra rewarding to provide them with a pleasant experience and have them excited about good oral hygiene and fun/easy future visits. Dr. Yassa earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UT Health Science Center at Houston in 2003. When he’s not in the office , you’ll find Dr. Yassa enjoying time with his family. He and his wife, Dr. Michelle West, have three wonderful sons Ethan, Benjamin, and William.
Dr. Jason Costa
Jason Costa was born and raised in Central Texas. He attended the University of Texas where he graduated with a degree in chemical engineering. He later graduated from the Baylor College of Dentistry and has been practicing dentistry in Central Texas since 2007. His interests include Star Wars, super heroes, and Sheriff Callie’s Wild West.
Dr. Sameh Ahmed
In 2006, Dr. Ahmed graduated with a BA in biology from the University of Texas at Austin. He continued his dental education in San Antonio, where he received his dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2011. He returned to Austin and has been working as a dentist ever since.
